Did You
Know?
Parker Pennsylvania
is located just on the border of Butler County and Armstrong
County. It is actually located in Armstrong County PA and is the
smallest city in the United States. Parker was incorporated as a city on March 1, 1873
during the Pennsylvania oil boom because it was thought it would grow
into a major city. It was called Parker City and included the villages of Parker's Landing
(on the Allegheny River) and Lawrenceburg (on the bluff above the river).
However, the oil boom ended earlier than expected and Parker ended up a
small village. According to the 2000 Census, the population is 799.

music, talent show, kid's activities, pony and hayrides (weather permitting), pumpkins and more.
This nonprofit event benefits Shannock Valley Community Park and local
organizations. New vendors welcome with food, crafts, gifts, games, etc.
A 10 x 10 area was only $20 in 2007.
