The Craft Market at the Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the Arts represents a huge collection and display of handcrafted items. More than 500,000 visitors stop by every year to see this juried shop full of handcrafted treasures. The shop features exquisite handcrafted items, larger furniture pieces, paintings, and one-of-a-kind fine art objects. This facility also houses "The Cherry Collection," which is a popular display of fine handcrafted work by local artisans who specialize in the wood of the black cherry trees grown in Western Pennsylvania.
The Craft Market is is easily accessible to Cook Forest visitors located between the Verna Leith Sawmill Theatre and the Swimming Poo and is open on a seasonal basis from May to October - 7 days a week 10AM to 5PM (on some theatre nights, the shop is open until 8PM. The Market is always looking for new crafters and new artisans who handcraft traditional or contemporary items in a variety of media. antiques, quilting items, quality handmade crafts, crafters
homes, an herb farm and artists galleries. Refreshments

Tour
Saturday and Sunday -
November 7 & 8, 2009 |

Annual
Tour started in 2003 and held the first calendar week in
November - Saturday and Sunday 10AM to 5PM - from historic
Brookville PA to Cook Forest in northwest Pennsylvania on
Route 36 North, Route 322 downtown and side roads. Look for
gingerbread boys. Tour unique and specialty shops with
antiques, quilting items, quality handmade crafts, crafters
homes, an herb farm and artists galleries. Refreshments
served at all locations. Lunch available at Quiet Creek Herb
Farm. |
