The club strives to further the knowledge, appreciation, and collection of antiques, with its main purpose being to support the restoration and preservation of historic sites. The
Kit-Han-Ne Questers Chapter 408 is part of the International
Questers, a nonprofit, antique study organization. There are five other Western Pennsylvania chapters. A Quester is someone who cares about the past, enjoys good conversations, likes to meet interesting people and enjoys collecting and learning about history. Did You Know? Parker Pennsylvania
is located just on the border of Butler County and Armstrong
County. It is actually located in Armstrong County PA and is the
smallest city in the United States. Parker was incorporated as a city on March 1, 1873
during the Pennsylvania oil boom because it was thought it would grow
into a major city. It was called Parker City and included the villages of Parker's Landing
(on the Allegheny River) and Lawrenceburg (on the bluff above the river).
However, the oil boom ended earlier than expected and Parker ended up a
small village. According to the 2000 Census, the population is 799. Click
