About CollectibleWebs -- and Linda & Rich |
If you are from the Western Pennsylvania area, you are probably familiar with our original Website, ButlerWebs.com. Having worked on ButlerWebs for more than five years, the site grew to nearly 1,000 pages with more than 600,000 visitors a month. Being one of the most referenced Websites in PA, we were contacted by someone who wanted to buy the site. The timing could not have been more perfect since Linda needed to spend time caring for her dad who was terminally ill. So on December 1, 2005, we transferred ownership of ButlerWebs.com.
Selling ButlerWebs gave us the time to start a whole new Website and business - CollectibleWebs.com. Our new website was intended to be for anything and everything that has to do with antiques and collectibles, artists and crafters as well as calendars for fairs, festivals, flea markets, auctions, craft fairs, etc. for shoppers and crafters. CollectibleWebs has been a great success.
Time flies when you're having fun. The years have passed and all of a sudden we realized that our computers and the software I was using for designing CollectibleWebs had become nearly obsolete.
So we bought a new computer and new web design software. At my age, learning a new program after using FrontPage for 10 years was not an easy task. During the learning process I decided that it might be a good idea to start a new Website devoted to Pennsylvania vendors and the events they might want to participate in - and keep CollectibleWebs.com for antiques and collectibles. So, in December 2009 - PaVendors.com went live. I hope to have everything updated and transferred by Spring. In the meantime, some information will be on CollectibleWebs and as I update things, the new information will be transferred to PaVendors.com.
